Active Menu: Change a price or mark Sold out in seconds
Your menu is a form in the app, not a request to somebody else. Add a dish, swap a photo, change a price or flip the sold out switch, and it is on your page before you have put the phone down. Compare that with what most restaurants live with: emailing whoever built the site and waiting days for a price change, or paying for the privilege. If you run a food truck where the board changes daily and the brisket goes by two, that difference is the whole plan.

Download your QR code as an image, or as a ready-to-print card carrying your logo, restaurant name, address, phone and web address. A6 at print resolution, four to a sheet, black and white so it runs off the back-office printer. The code opens your menu rather than your homepage, because someone who has just sat down wants to know what the food is and what it costs. The vector version blows up to a window decal without going fuzzy.

Typing thirty dishes is thirty dishes typed, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Two things make it survivable. You start from a sample menu based on your cuisine, so you rename real rows instead of facing a blank screen. And you do not have to type it at all: up to five photographs of your physical menu board work instead, either on their own or alongside a typed menu. For a truck with one board, photographing it is the whole job.
Findable on Google, as a restaurant
Your page carries full Restaurant structured data: name, address, phone, cuisines, opening hours and your menu with prices. That is the information Google uses to understand that you are a restaurant in a particular place serving particular food, which is what feeds local results. We cannot promise you a ranking, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is that your page is indexed and gives Google everything it asks for.
A Squarespace or Wix site costs more, takes a weekend, and then goes stale in a month, because nobody sits down to edit a website on a Tuesday. This one cannot go stale, because the thing that keeps it current is the thing you were doing anyway.

Can I make reels on the free plan?
Yes. Preview includes unlimited reels, using the Hot Special template, and they carry a small PostMyPlatter watermark. Editor removes the watermark and unlocks the other four templates. Both kinds are included: slideshow reels built from photos you already have, and video reels built from one clip you shoot.
What's the difference between a slideshow reel and a video reel?
A slideshow reel is built from photos you already have. Pick up to 7, choose 10, 15 or 20 seconds, and the timing, crossfades and closing slide are handled for you, so there is nothing to shoot. A video reel starts with one clip you shoot on your phone: your writeup fades in over the footage, your price sits alongside it if you want one, and it finishes on the same closing slide. After that, posting keeps it current, because every post you make appears on the site automatically with today's specials promoted to the top. It shows whether you are open right now, worked out in your own timezone, and you can schedule a closure notice ahead of time. Can I see what my website would look like before I pay for it?
Yes, and you do not need a paid plan to do it. On Preview and on Editor you can fill in your address, hours, menu and style and see your real page rendered from your own posts and profile, not a generic demo. Two things are held back: claiming your address at yourname.postmyplatter.com, because those are first come and finite, and publishing. Until you subscribe to the Website plan your page stays private, so it is not live on the internet and Google never sees it.
Do I have to type my whole menu?
No. Up to five photographs of your physical menu board work instead, which for a truck with one board is the whole job. If you do want it typed out, you start from a sample menu based on your cuisine and rename the rows rather than starting from a blank screen. Prices show in your own currency, and a dish that runs out gets marked sold out and stays on the page, dimmed and labelled rather than deleted, so people know it existed and to come earlier tomorrow.
Can I use my own domain with the Website plan?
Not on this plan. Your site lives at yourname.postmyplatter.com, which is included and free. You choose that address once when you set the site up, and changing it afterwards needs a message to us. That is deliberate: the address ends up on printed menus, table cards and QR codes, and a link that stops working is worse than a name you have grown out of. If you want a site on your own domain, a QR menu we build and keep current for you, daily Instagram posting or templates designed around your brand, those are our done-for-you Services. Email us and we will scope it to your food business.
Can people order or book a table through my website?
Your site has an Order button that points wherever you already take orders: your own site, an aggregator, or a WhatsApp link. There is no cart and no checkout on our side, and we do not handle your money or take a cut. Table bookings are not built. The site also carries your phone, address, directions and your social links, plus an optional contact email and a catering section in your own words.
I already subscribe to Starter. What happens to my plan?
Nothing. Your subscription carries on exactly as it is, at the price you signed up at, with everything it has always included. Starter is no longer sold to new customers, but nobody currently on it loses anything.
Do you support customers outside the US?
Yes. PostMyPlatter is available in 154 countries across the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Mexico, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UAE, Nigeria, South Africa, and many more. Is PostMyPlatter available in my country?
We’re currently available in 154 countries. You can check the full list on our Supported Countries page. We’re not yet available everywhere (including China, Brazil, and the European Union), but we’re expanding over time. If your country isn’t listed yet, join our waitlist and we’ll let you know when PostMyPlatter arrives.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Two taps in your account settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We don't pro-rate refunds, but we also don't make cancellation harder than signup.
Do you offer an annual discount?
Not yet. We want to nail the monthly experience first. Annual pricing may come later.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can move between Editor and Website in your subscription settings, or through the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed there. Nothing you have already made is affected.
Do you offer refunds?
If something's broken on our end, yes: email us. Otherwise, Preview is the free "try before you pay" period, and we don't refund subscription months that have already started.
What counts as one "AI-generated caption"?
Each time you tap "Generate caption" or "Rewrite," it counts as one. Editing the result yourself doesn't count. AI captions aren't part of Preview; the Editor and Website plans give you 60 per month.
Can I subscribe through the App Store or Google Play instead?
Yes. PostMyPlatter is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). In-app subscriptions cost $3/month more due to the platform fee charged by Apple and Google: Editor is $12.99/month in-app versus $9.99 on the web, and Website is $22.99/month in-app versus $19.99 on the web. You get the same features on all platforms, the only difference is price. Subscribing here on the web is cheaper and gives you the same access across iOS, Android, and Web.
