How is this different from a design tool like Canva?
A design tool gives you a canvas and expects you to make the decisions: which font, what size, where things go, and whether it still fits after you typed a longer dish name. PostMyPlatter is a posting workflow instead. Your restaurant name, logo, address, phone and website land on every template automatically, the text sizes itself to fit, and a single photo is enough to make a reel. What makes a post or reel "branded"?
Your details are already on it. You enter your restaurant name, logo, address, phone and website once in your profile, and PostMyPlatter places them onto every template automatically, in the colour palette you picked. So every post and reel looks like it came from your food business and tells people how to find you, without you retyping anything or opening a design tool.
What's the difference between the Starter and Editor plans?
Both include unlimited branded posts and unlimited branded reels. On Starter your posts come out clean but your reels carry a small PostMyPlatter watermark. Editor is everything in Starter with that watermark removed from reels too. Slideshow reels turn photos you already have into vertical video, and video reels take one clip you shoot and add your writeup, your price and a closing slide with your details. Editor is US$11.99/month on the web and US$14.99/month through the App Store or Google Play, which is $2/month more than Starter on either.
Can I make reels on the Starter plan?
Yes. Starter includes unlimited reels, they just carry a small PostMyPlatter watermark. Editor removes it for $2/month more. Preview includes reels too, watermarked, using the Hot Special template only.
What's the difference between a slideshow reel and a video reel?
A slideshow reel is built from photos you already have. Pick up to 7, choose 10, 15 or 20 seconds, and the timing, crossfades and closing slide are handled for you, so there is nothing to shoot. A video reel starts with one clip you shoot on your phone: your writeup fades in over the footage, your price sits alongside it if you want one, and it finishes on the same closing slide. Both come out at 1080x1920, ready for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels.
What's included in the US$9.99 Starter plan?
The Starter plan includes everything you need to create Instagram posts for your food business: 5 post templates, AI-generated captions (up to 60 per month), photo enhancement tools (background removal, smart cropping, filters), 5 color palettes, and unlimited posts. Your subscription works across iOS, Android, and Web. Sign in on any device with the same account. The Starter plan is for creating social media posts. Yes. PostMyPlatter is available in 154 countries across the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Mexico, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UAE, Nigeria, South Africa, and many more. You can see the full list on our Supported Countries page. Prices are shown in US dollars and you’re charged the listed price. You can pay with any major credit or debit card.
Is PostMyPlatter available in my country?
We’re currently available in 154 countries. You can check the full list on our Supported Countries page. We’re not yet available everywhere (including China, Brazil, and the European Union), but we’re expanding over time. If your country isn’t listed yet, join our waitlist and we’ll let you know when PostMyPlatter arrives.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Two taps in your account settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We don't pro-rate refunds, but we also don't make cancellation harder than signup.
Do you offer an annual discount?
Not yet. We want to nail the monthly experience first. Annual pricing may come later.
Can I switch plans later?
When more plans launch, switching between them will be straightforward.
Do you offer refunds?
If something's broken on our end, yes: email us. Otherwise, Preview is the free "try before you pay" period, and we don't refund subscription months that have already started.
What counts as one "AI-generated caption"?
Each time you tap "Generate caption" or "Rewrite," it counts as one. Editing the result yourself doesn't count. AI captions aren't part of Preview; the Starter and Editor plans give you 60 per month.
Can I subscribe through the App Store or Google Play instead?
Yes. PostMyPlatter is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). In-app subscriptions cost $3/month more due to the platform fee charged by Apple and Google: Starter is $12.99/month in-app versus $9.99 on the web, and Editor is $14.99 in-app versus $11.99 on the web. You get the same features on all platforms, the only difference is price. Subscribing here on the web is cheaper and gives you the same access across iOS, Android, and Web.
