Caption credits: what counts and what doesn’t

Each time you generate an AI caption, it uses one credit from your monthly allowance. Credits reset every month.

What uses a credit

• Tapping Generate caption and receiving a caption successfully (one credit per successful generation)

What does NOT use a credit

• Generating a caption and then editing the text manually
• A generation that fails due to a connection error or timeout (the app confirms “Your caption allowance was not affected”)
• A generation that is declined by the AI (e.g. unrecognisable input)
• Regenerating with a different tone (each successful generation counts as one credit, regardless of tone)

Checking your remaining credits

Your usage is shown in the Caption step while creating a post: “X of Y captions used this month.” A warning appears when you have 5 or fewer credits remaining.

Ran out of credits?

Caption generation will be unavailable until your monthly allowance resets. You can still write your own caption manually in the caption field at no cost.
