Switching between templates without losing your edits

On the web (app.postmyplatter.com)

When you switch to a different template, the following is preserved:

• Your photo
• Your color palette
• Your filter (Warm, Bright, etc.)
• Your caption

The following is reset:

• All text fields (dish name, price, deal text, custom message, headline): these are cleared and start fresh for the new template
• Multi-dish photos (Tasting Card template): these are cleared

On iPhone, iPad, and Android

When you switch to a different template, the following is preserved:

• Your photo
• Your filter (Warm, Bright, etc.)
• Your caption

The following is reset:

• Your color palette (resets to the default; reselect it after switching)
• All text fields (dish name, price, deal text, custom message, headline): these are cleared and start fresh for the new template
• Multi-dish photos (Tasting Card template): these are cleared

What this means in practice

If you have typed a dish name and price, then switch templates, you will need to re-enter that information for the new template. Your photo, filter, and caption carry over automatically on all platforms.
